Ich habe Gil Scott-Herons Musik viel zu spät kennengelernt, aber seitdem ist sie zu einer Konstante auf meinen Kopfhörern geworden und der alte Sänger zu einer Inspiration, dessen Werk ich nun, Jahre nach der Veröffentlichung, langsam kennenlerne.

Heute habe ich bei Pascal einen kleinen Film über den 2011 verstorbenen Scott-Heron gefunden. Aufgenommen 2010, spricht er angenehm unbefangen über Erfahrungen und Meinungen und wird dabei auf eine sehr unaufdringliche, detailverliebte Art von Michael Daniele Driscoll gefilmt.
